Andres is, above all, a writer. Since 2018, he has spent the better part of his time penning feature-length screenplays, shorts, plays, short stories, and just about any other format for his sometimes cerebral, sometimes silly ideas, all of which he researches and pursues passionately. He is also a resourceful and multi-talented manager, with skills ranging from production to assistant directing and casting.
Andres met Vincent during his time as a Producer at Television McGill, where he first conceived of, wrote, and actively tried to produce Island Life. While the COVID pandemic would pull the plug on this attempt (and the second one, in 2021), Andres would go on to cross Vincent’s path once again and become an official Scriptwriter for PanArt Productions’ advertisements.
The following year, Andres presented Vincent with his vision for Island Life, and the two of them embarked on a creative journey spanning upward of two years. He perfected the script and led the ever-growing production team through the financing, casting, crewing, and location scouting stages, as well as running the set during production as the film’s Assistant Director.
Andres now acts as PanArt’s Head Fiction Producer, preparing Island Life’s promotion plan and writing and planning PanArt’s next most ambitious project ever: Tribes (more information coming soon).
